Tomas Linden

HIP Helsinki

I'm a researcher working on the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Software and Physics project at Helsinki Institute of Physics (HIP) at the University of Helsinki. The CMS-detector is one of the general purpose detectors for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) proton-proton storage ring to be completed in 2007 at CERN.  I wrote my PhD-thesis in the strangelet search NA52 experiment at CERN.

Presently I'm working on grid computing with Linux clusters to prepare for the analysis of LHC-data within the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid and Nordic Data Grid Facility projects.
