Jørn Wroldsen is a professor of physics and currently
rector of Gjøvik University College. He holds a PhD in theoretical particle
physics from the University of Oslo and spent two years at the Theory
Division at CERN as a Research Fellow before taking up a permanent position
at Gjøvik University College in 1986. As a Corresponding Fellow at CERN in
the late 80s, he gained experience in developing computational methods for
lattice QCD calculations. The last decade he has spent most of his time on
administrative duties first as deputy rector, and, later on, as rector. |
