in the final of the Badminton tournament.
Comment
The CSC2009 tournament was organized as a six-team championship. Each team met the5 others.
Amazingly, at the end of the 4 rounds of matches, 2 teams were unbeaten: Team 2 and team 5. The last match between the two teams became therefore  the de-facto final of the championships.

The  score was very tight, each team leading in turn. In the last two minutes, Team 5 took a decisive advantage to lead 24-19. In a last effort, Team 2 tried to come back, but ended up with 20 only.

Rules

Here are the simplified rules of the Badminton Tournament:
  • Serving
    • Server must hit the shuttlecock with a bottom-up move
    • Server must stay behind the second black line
    • Server may send the shuttlecock anywhere in the opposite court
    • Women will always stay on the right hand side when serving 
    • Men will always stay on the left hand side when serving
  • Receiving service
    • Receivers will stay beyond the middle black line
    • As long as they are beyond the line, they can be anywhere (no particular position)
    • They must not smash when receiving the service the first time
  • Changing service
    • Service will change in the order Ladie1, Ladi2, Men 1, Men2, ....
  • Scoring
    • To score a point, the shuttlecock has to hit the floor inside the court
  • Net
    • The shuttlecock can touch the net, however racket and player body can't
  • Fairness and courtesy
    • Men are recommended to behave as gentlemen with ladies
