Inverted CSC (iCSC2012)

Involving students to deliver advanced education

iCSC is an idea prototyped in 2005.

iCSC2005, iCSC2006, iCSC2008, iCSC2010 and  iCSC2011 were a two- to three-day series of lectures, organized and delivered by selected students of the previous CSC, but where the students went one step further, combining their skills and elaborating on CSC related subjects.

We are calling students present in 2011 in Copenhagen to make proposals.

Proposals  for iCSC2012 will be submitted in October 2011. Details about the submission process will be provided  after CSC2011.

If we receive sufficient proposals of appropriate quality*, iCSC2012 will be an event of 1 to 3 days to take place at CERN in February or March 2012. Attendance will be free to anyone interested.

* Note: We know that the present year is extremely busy for several of you (LHC intense activity). Therefore, consider this as an opportunity but not as having any kind of moral obligation.
If it turns out that no school is organized in 2012, we will prompt you again for proposals in the fall 2012, together with the participants at CSC2012 in Sweden.
