Practical information:
Uxbridge Town
Uxbridge is just 20 minutes walk or short bus ride from the heart of
Brunel University campus. Uxbridge is an old Georgian market
town transformed today in a thriving commercial and business centre,
located in the London Borough of Hillingdon in West England.
It is a suburban development situated 15 miles (24 k) west
north-west of Charing Cross in London. The town centre is
packed with more than 300 shops, a multiplex cinema, two shopping
malls, dozens of bars and restaurants and a
£3
million nightclub.
Travelling from London
to Uxbridge is very straightforward - the town is at the end of the
Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines on the
London Underground.(AB-1)
Note:
Monday 30th August is a Bank Holiday meaning that most, if not all
the facilities will be closed.
