Currently I am working at CERN with the MSG
(Messaging System for the Grid). It is being used mainly on the context of
Grid Monitoring to help probing, summarizing, and making available
information in a flexible and reliable way. Before being at the Monitoring
and Dashboards section of the GS group, I graduated in Electrical and
Electronics Engineering at my hometown of Porto, Portugal, coming to CERN to
work with file and metadata catalogs. In between I got to know real life in
a medium-sized start-up and was lucky enough to work at ESA for a brief
period. Hopefully CSC will give me a better overall picture of the other
side of the Grid, by the HEP physics users point of view.
