Sport at CSC2008
What are the objectives of the sport programme?

The participation to sport activities is fully
voluntary (as is the participation to other
social activities)
-
The aim is to provide opportunities for refreshing
activities in particular before the final afternoon
working sessions (as an alternative to the free study
hours)
-
It also provides additional opportunities for
interactions between students and lecturers / organizers

Daily Activities proposed during afternoons |
Most daily sport activities will take place in
the the GUC campus facilities (Sport hall,
Football pitch).
Week days, 13:30-15:00.
Note: GUC Sport Hall has to be freed at 15:00, so
that other groups can use the facilities
All participants (in in-door out-door activities)
can take a shower in the Sport hall of the campus
(Usually, free time after lunch is 13:30-16:00, coffee is
at 15:30, optional self-study hour is 14:30-15:30)

Since
2003, it has become a tradition to organize a
football match the second week of the school. The
match traditionally involves all those
willing, beginners and experienced, male and female,
students and organizers, old and young, tall and
short ... players.
In
2008, the match is taking place Wednesday 3rd of
September.
from 18:00 to 20:00, on the full-size GUC
campus pitch.

nor the local organizers provide insurances for the sport
