How to Apply
to CSC2010 |

Procedure |

If you wish to apply to the CERN
School of Computing 2010 ,
you are invited to follow two steps: |
|
1. |
Fill out the
Web-based
Application Form for CSC2010 and submit it electronically (not
by hand-writing on a printed copy)
|
2. |
Send
(email or post)
to the address below:

Reference
Letter on
paper signed by your Professor or Supervisor
in your organization
(on
formal headed paper from the applicant's institute/organization).
To help
you, we have prepared a
model of Reference Letter (

) that can be edited.

The Certification Form
(PDF
version
|
Word
version
)
on paper, signed by your
Professor or Supervisor in your organization, to the address below.

Optional:
Only in case of application for a possible grant (to
reduce or cover the fees of applicants with financial
difficulties), a letter explaining the reasons of the request for
partial financial support.
(Note:
A small number of grants may be provided
by Brunel University and STFC to some of the selected students
with financial difficulties
to reduce
or cover the fees.
The selection of the grant beneficiaries
is done by Brunel University.)

The Reference
Letter and the
Certification Form must be
signed by your Professor or Supervisor in your
organization and sent by email to:

Deadline |
The deadline for CERN to receive the full
application (web application + letter of reference +
certification form)
is the 3rd of May
2010. |
|
Selection of participants |
The number of participants is
limited to 60.
The
selection of the participants will be made by the Selection Committee and
participants will be informed of the outcome of their application by
the beginning of June
2010. |

Note
on Liability and Insurance |
By his or her registration in the CERN
School of Computing the participant acknowledges that he or she has taken note of-
and accepts the provisions regarding liability and insurance as specified on
the CSC web site (Practical
Information). |

are for the entire programme. It is not possible to register for one theme
only. |
