How to Apply

Registration is closed since the 15 of May 2006

Procedure

If you wish to apply to the CERN School of Computing 2006 (1) as well as apply for a European Union grant, you must:

1.   

Fill out the  Web-based Application Form for CSC2005 and submit it electronically (not by hand-writing on a printed copy)

2.   

Send a Letter of Reference on paper signed by your Professor or Supervisor in your organization (on formal headed paper from the applicant's institute/organization), to the address below.

3.

Send the Certification Form (PDF version | Word version) on paper, signed by your Professor or Supervisor in your organization, to the address below.

The Letter of Reference and the Certification Form must be signed by your Professor or Supervisor in your organization, and sent via postal mail to Mrs. Fabienne Baud-Lavigne, CERN, IT Department, 1211 Geneva 23, Switzerland  by  the 15th May 2006.

Deadline

The deadline for CERN to receive the full application (web application + letter of reference + certification form)  is the 15th May 2006.

Grants

Part or all of the fees, living and travel expenses may be reimbursed via a European Union FP6 programme grant. Check whether you are eligible for financial support.

Selection of participants

The number of participants is limited to 80.

he selection of the participants will be made by the Advisory Committee and participants will be informed of the outcome of their application by the middle of June 2006.

(1) Applications are for the entire programme. It is not possible to register for one theme only.
