José Pedro Magalhães is a Portuguese undergraduate student from Minho University (Braga, Portugal), following the Computer Science and Systems Engineering (LESI) programme. He has spent one year studying at Utrecht University (the Netherlands) as part of the Erasmus program by the EU, and is currently a Summer Student at CERN working for the IT department, under the supervision of François Flückiger and Andreas Hirstius. His main fields of interest are formal methods, functional programming and theory of computation.He has also completed musical studies (Oporto conservatorium) on Organ.
