The pictures are stored in a Gallery
stored on the School Server |
1 |
You can upload your pictures to the
School Server directly from your laptop is you have one, or from
one of your colleague's laptop.
(Note: the USB port of the Linux computers in the exercise
room do not allow you to upload pictures from your card). |
2 |
If you cannot find a laptop please
go and see Romain
Basset
(he is usually in the Secretariat). |
3 |
Then, access the
Gallery.
You can browse through the albums and
pictures already uploaded, as well as post your own pictures |
4 |
If you want to post your own pictures,
you must login (using the link in the top right of page), with the
same login you use to access the School Cluster and with the default password "csc2005" (you are free to modify it afterwards, if you wish, after
logging in). |
5 |
After logging in, you can add pictures to the
existing albums, as well as create your own albums (clicking on "new album").
|
6 |
After creating an album, you have access to a
set of options on the combo-box "<<album actions>>" in the top
right of the page, namely "add photos" and create "new nested
album". |
7 |
If you create your own albums, you can customize
the permissions related to it (users that can change, etc.
your album). |
8 |
Don't forget to give a title (under "[edit title]")
and then rename (under "Rename this album ") your
album.
|
9 |
You can upload individual pictures with an individual comment (if none is given, it's the picture's name),
but for a larger number of pictures, it's easier if you upload a
.zip file containing them (an automatic process will extract the
photos into the album). |
