Badminton tournament rules
Here are the simplified rules of the Badminton Tournament:
- Serving
- Server must hit the shuttlecock with a
bottom-up move
- Server must stay behind the second line
- Server must send the shuttlecock in the diagonal
square in the
opposite court
- Receiving service
- Receivers will stay beyond the middle black line
- As long as they are beyond the line, they can be
anywhere (no particular position)
- They must not smash when receiving the service
the first time
- Changing service
- Service will change at every lost point
- Scoring
- To score a point, the shuttlecock has to hit the
floor inside the court
- Net
- The shuttlecock can touch the net, however racket
and player body can't
- Fairness and courtesy
- Men are recommended to behave as gentlemen with ladies

Lost = 0 pt

Each match lasts 12 min and takes place in a
15 min time lost
(3 min left for team change and short
warming).
