Sport Day -
Thursday 26 August
A full sport afternoon is proposed the Thursday 26 August. As all social activities, this programme is optional.
All students must
indicate the option they choose, even though they prefer not to join
any activity, but to be on their own for the afternoon.
Three classes of options are proposed: totaling seven different options

One sport activity to be chosen from a
choice of four options of increasing
physical difficulty (S1, S2, S3, S4)

One Free activity (Hillington
Pool Complex, Uxbridge) (F)

(all social activities being optional, third option is to not join any of

Description: A panel of
acrobatic challenging high ropes activities
of varying and increasing difficulty.
Participants will receive initial
instructions and safety briefings.
They may then proceed at their own pace and
decide the limit of their course.
Required skills and health condition
-
This is open to any participant ,
male and female, reasonably fit and
healthy. The activities are
physically demanding and require a
degree of agility, strength and stamina.
It is preferable that participants
are not afraid of space.
Instructions
-
Dressing: It is preferable to wear loose
clothing (loose sport shirt and trouser),
sport shoes, rain jacket if uncertain
weather. Sandals or slip-off shoes are
excluded.

Long hair should be tied up. It is
advised to covers waists and remove or
tap over piercings for comfort.

Participants are advised to bring a
bottle of water and a
rain jacket
, as rain is forecasted.
How it will be organized
-
The the CSC Sport-day "bus will drive
the participants (after a stop over at
Hillingdon complex) to the GO-APE
Centre,
Black Park Country Park, where
professional instructors from the
GO-APE
Centre will explain
the session.

Return by bus to the Brunel campus
after stop at
Hillington Pools Complex
for picking u Cricket
players and swimmers

Tour in the beautiful
Black Park Country Park Rowley Wood, and
possibly in the Langley Country Park.

Description: This is
a unique opportunity for beginners, female
and male, to get a first experience with one
of the most popular British sport. The
session will last about 1 1/4 hours with a
professional instructor. After initial
explanation and progressive training, teams
may be formed to try playing a simplified
match.

Dressing: It is preferable to wear loose
clothing (loose sport shirt and long trousers
preferably ),
sport shoes, rain jacket if uncertain
weather.

Dressing code: Cricket has strict
dressing code in the UK (entirely white
clothes, long trousers). This will be
exceptionally relaxed for CSC participants:
if they have no appropriate long rouser,
they may wear short trousers, but
should
wear their white CSC T-shirt.

bottle of water if case of hot day.
